Range of Insect Screen

A pleated mesh is a stylish, retractable insect screen that folds into neat accordion-like pleats instead of rolling into a cassette. This folding design gives it a slim profile and smooth operation, making it ideal for wide openings such as balcony doors, sliding windows, French doors, or large patio entrances.

The system typically consists of a lightweight but sturdy aluminium frame with a fine polyester or fiberglass mesh. The mesh is guided along top and bottom tracks and can be drawn sideways (horizontally) or, in some models, vertically. When you slide the handle, the mesh panels glide effortlessly and stack into a compact pleated bundle at the side, almost disappearing when not in use. Because the screen doesn’t rely on spring tension like a roller type, it’s easy to stop at any position and requires minimal effort to open or close.
