uPVC soundproof windows are specially designed windows that combine the durability of unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (uPVC) frames with high-performance glass to reduce external noise and improve indoor comfort. The uPVC material is inherently strong, weather-resistant, and low-maintenance, making it ideal for creating airtight frames that prevent sound leakage.

The acoustic performance is enhanced by using double or triple glazing with laminated or asymmetrical glass panes, often separated by an air or inert gas-filled cavity. The combination of thick, laminated glass and an insulated frame helps block urban noise, traffic, or industrial sounds, reducing sound transmission by up to 40–50 decibels depending on the configuration.
